皇帝の愛した茶碗（a tea bowl cherished by an emperor)
梅は桜よりも長らく咲いてくれますが
それでも雨のたびに散ってゆきます。
Plum blossoms bloom longer than cherry blossoms,
and yet they fall with every rain.

そんな梅の色をとどめたいと思ったのでしょうか。
清朝の乾隆帝は、紅梅色の茶碗を焼かせました。
背地に広がるうすべにいろは
梅の香の彩かもしれません。
Did Qianlong Emperor want to keep the color of plum blossoms?
He produced the above tea bowl with plum-blossom design.
芸術を愛した乾隆帝 ー「如懿伝」＊ Qianlong Emperor loved the fine art.
いつかは見たいと思うこの茶碗、はるか中国にではなく、
いつか入ってみたいと思っていた美術館にあるそうです。
京都国立近代美術館から疎水を越えた向かい側の、
藤井斉成会有鄰館の所蔵品です。
This charming tea bowl is not in China today but owned by
a private museum in Kyoto, Yūrinkan Museum !
The exotic building near MoMAK charmed my friend and me,
but was closed on an autumn day in 2018.
いつの日か君とながめむ清朝の絢爛かをる梅花茶碗を
