霜月はお好き（Aimez-vous Novembre…）
アルプスの姫林檎を果物屋さんで見つけて、嬉しくなった。
あの本の裏表紙にも、クラブアップルが描かれていたっけ。
夜店のリンゴ飴に使われる林檎。青い小鳥が啄ばんでいる。
さて、煮て食べようか、焼いて食べようか。。。

21世紀のテレビにはあまりに古風でのどか過ぎるからだろうか。
秋が深まると決まってこの場面を思い出す。
私はアンやプルーストを生んだ19世紀が好きなのだ。

アンの国カナダと違って、やまとの十月の楓はまだ薄紅葉。
赤く輝いているのは欅（けやき）。🍂
わが村では、柿、桜、欅、銀杏や楓の順に色づいてゆく。

it comes in November in Nara.
Leaves turn red from persiommon and cherry to zelkova, ginkgo, and maple.
楓より早く色づく紅葉葉楓（モミジバフウ） 🍁
Star-leaved gums turn red earlier than maples.

深紅の紅葉とおなじくらい心惹かれるのは、霜月の斑（むら）紅葉。
🍁 カナダよりもずっと長く続く、あたたかな大和の秋。穏やかな秋。
These mottled maple leaves are as beautiful as red star-shaped leaves.
It is still November.
In Japan, the autumn is much warmer and longer than that in Canada.
