Halloween parade still has continued in Japan? Oh no, this is Night Parade of a Hundred Demons painted in the sixteenth century (Shinjuan Subtemple of Daitoku-ji Temple). Various demons including household objects transformed such as a biwa-lute, shoes, pots, trivets, etc. are walking on the main street at midnight.

超名画ながらマジ怖い幽霊や地獄絵も多い「大妖怪展」、図録は見送るつもりでしたが…なんてポップな装丁! いま流行りの妖怪の漫画と並べても、ぜんぜん違和感がありません。
Though I was hesitating to buy the catalogue of this exhibition because of not a few paintings of the hell and hair-raising ghosts, I was charmed by the poppy book design! The right one is a recent manga on the monsters including Satan, Beelzebub,etc.(Hozuki's Coolheadedness )

美術館の上には日本一の展望台、ハルカス300があります。空飛ぶ天狗の気分を味わいたくて昇ってみると…ハロウィーンの帽子をかぶったのっぺらぼうの家族が記念撮影していました。
The museum and Abeno HARUKAS Observatory are in the same building. From the observatory, you can enjoy the visual field of a long‐nosed goblin flying at 300 meters above ground (the tallest building in Japan). An unfaced Addams Family with Halloween huts were photographed in commemoration.

Look! The blue sea and Rokko Mountains in the distance! Around an estuary, a red bridge and white bridge are shining. In front, you recognize Osaka Castle in a valley between tall buildings, on a green belt. ↓

大坂城を取り囲む夏の陣の陣構えが一望できます。ビルの森つはものどもが夢の跡。
You command the panorama surrounding the castle, where the summer campaign of the siege of Osaka took place (1615). " The woods of tall buildings ― The aftermath of brave soldiers' dreams. " (my parody of Basho)

母衣(ほろ)のような雲と生駒山*Clouds like awnings of Samurai and Mount Ikoma


生駒山は母衣(ほろ)のような雲をしたがえ、二上山と吉野山は青く霞んでいます。
Mount Ikoma was accompanied by floccus like awnings of samurai warriors (upper fig.). The blue mountains (Mt. Futakami and Yoshino) are misted (lower fig.).

忍者?いえ、吹き抜けで階下はカフェなんです。さあ、雲の向こうの奈良へ帰って、お化けパンとかぼちゃパイでおやつにしましょう。お皿のトトロも妖怪の一種でしたっけ。
Ninja (highly-trained spies)? No, here is a restaurant area built in wellhole style. Now I go back to Nara behind the clouds and eat a loaf of bread in the shape of a ghost and a laughing pumpkin pie!
