サンタ・マグノリア（Santa Magnolia）
けわしくも刻むこころの峰々にいま咲きそむるマグノリアかも 宮澤賢治

『マグノリアの木』という童話があります。作者は宮澤賢治。賢治は若いころ短歌を作っていました。この童話は、短歌と詩歌が交じりあい、さながら歌物語のようです。
Magnolier est un conte de fées par Miyazawa Kenji (1896-1933). Il composait tanka dans sa jeunesse. Ce conte est comme un poème en prose avec la tanka. Il a été un bouddhiste qui sympathisait avec le christianisme.
（…）俄かにぱっとあたりが黄金に変りました。
霧が融けたのでした。太陽は磨きたての藍銅鉱のそらに液体のようにゆらめいてかかり融けのこりの霧はまぶしく蝋のように谷のあちこちに澱みます。
（ああこんなけわしいひどいところを私は渡って来たのだな。けれども何というこの立派さだろう。そしてはてな、あれは。）
諒安は眼を疑いました。そのいちめんの山谷の刻みにいちめんまっ白にマグノリアの木の花が咲いているのでした。その日のあたるところは銀と見え陰になるところは雪のきれと思われたのです （『マグノリアの木』）

人の生は険しい山谷を昇り降りするようなもの。無我夢中で、そして誠実に歩んでいるうち、ある時、ふり返ると、いちめんの山谷の刻みに小鳥のようなマグノリアの花が咲いている。マグノリアの花は「寂静印」にして「覚者の善」。―そんな風に生きられたら、感じられたら、どんなにいいか。
The life is like the mountain climbing and descending. While walking hard and sincerely, one stops and looks back to find that his steps have been purified with magnolia blossoms like white birds. This flower means the mudra of Nirvana and the virtue of the enlightened person. If we could live and feel in this way, how blessed we would be!
姫辛夷 ★ Magnolia stellata
木蓮は蓮に似ているためか、中国や日本の寺によく植えられます。中国では玉蘭とも呼ばれます。その歴史は一億年以上も昔にさかのぼり、ほとんど形を変えていないのだとか。木蓮の花言葉は「自然への愛」、辛夷の花言葉は「友愛」です。どちらも変わらぬ愛でありますように。
The magnolia resembles the lotus, so that it is often planted in Japanese or Chinese temples. In China, it is called Jade orchide（Yulan）.
The origin of this flower goes far back to a hundred million years ago, and its shape has scarcely changed.
The language of flowers are “Love of Nature” (Magnolia liliiflora) and “Fraternity” (Magnolia kobus). I wish both the loves forever!
弥勒菩薩は五億七千六百万年後に救済のため下生するといふ
Maitreya is said to descend to save us in five hundred seventy-six million years.
五億七千六百万年後の弥勒の救ひはとほく祈るほかなく
(The future coming of Maitreya is too far and yet we can’t but pray.)

私もこの本が、中でもこのお話が大好きです。
マグノリアの枝を３本、届けてくださってありがとうございます。しみじみ嬉しいです。
心のなかの翡翠いろの瓶に生けました。AMITIE BONHEUR と書かれた瓶に？。。。
